Help the Team
While the team traveling to Sam's Place is typically made of 15-20 people, they are supported by an army of volunteers working behind the scenes. There are numerous ways you can help support the work of the teams that travel to Sam's Place.
team member support
Each team member is responsible for raising the funds to cover the cost of his or her trip to Sam's Place. The funds raised pay for the plane ticket, food, lodging, and other expenses related to the work to be done. You can donate to a specific team member by clicking on the "Donate" button and completing the form. Make sure you indicate which team member you want to receive your donation.
Special projects
Teams traveling to Sam's Place undertake a variety of special projects. These can include construction projects, teacher trainings, facilities improvements, mending clothing, gathering health information, obtaining medical care, and special activities for the children. You can make a contribution to help fund any of these projects.
donate your time
Not everyone is able to GO to Sam's Place to serve, but that does not mean they cannot help support the work there. The teams could not accomplish all they do without the help of numerous volunteers that help make preparations here. Volunteers sew, crochet, shop, sort, pack and more. Interested in volunteering?
