Sam's Place Plus and Beyond

Sam's Place Plus is a program designed to help students prepare to transition to live outside of Sam's Place. The students move out of the regular dorm and into mock apartments within the Sam's Place compound. These students may be enrolled in High School, the Vocational Program, or may be preparing to attend advanced training at another location. The students learn how to manage money, how to plan for meals and shop for groceries, how to cook, and how to live on their own. By allowing the students to live in apartments on compound, the students maintain a support system while practicing the skills required to live on their own.
